I've finished my site redesign at http://www.stevesmiscellany.go.nu/ but I want to implement a php image browser for the art, photography and 3D pages. I don't know much php bar getting it to right stuff like hello world on screen, so any tutorials and help is very much appreciated. I want it to have say 5 thumbnails to a page (prefeably server created) which when clicked on bring up a larger image, and back and forward buttons on both the thumbnail page and larger image page. If anyone knows of an open source php code which does this that would also be apreciated.
Cheers,
Steve

Small addition for anybody interested in those books. You can get sample chapters from here.

Also a bit cheaper to buy them from there than amazon too (if you want to buy both that is).

Cheers, but your link is wrong, I get this error in Firefox and IE:
"Browser Bug?
Attention: There appears to be a bug in the web browser you are currently using. Here are some ways to get around the problem:
* To return to the page you were previously on: --click the BACK button on your browser's navigation bar until you reach the desired page.
* To checkout --click on the shopping cart icon at the top of the page and proceed through the checkout process using the standard server (instead of the secure server). You can phone or fax the credit card information to us."

Sometimes online tutorials just aren't enough.
These books http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/026-7104559-6692425 are solid gold.
Once you've got them, got for the object orientated ones.

Might help. I've just done a gallery/browser myself recently, but can't give the code out.
