First time i watched it, wanting to see if it lived up to its awards and i must say it was fantastic.
Not a brand new film but anyone who hasn't seen this i would strongly recommnend doing so.
Yeah, we've all heard of the stories and what went on in WW2 but i had no idea, even after watching Schindlers list it was going to be that realistic and right to the facts.
The actors were superb, i can see why Adrian Brody won an award for his perfomance and why this was to be acknowledged as a brilliant film. You actually felt sorry for the family which nowadays is mostly unheard of. My girlfriend was crying all throughout the film which really says something to me.
5 Star film.

I recorded it off Sky Movies a while back but have never got around to watching it.

The Pianist is a great film. Need to rent it again.
I agree it is a great film, i saw it up in the cinema in London last year, excellent surround sound qualities as well with all the explosions.
