I just read Timmaghs life story on his webpage. It's boring, but includes lots of death.

See, this guy is a jinx. Four of his mates have mysteriously died of 'natural causes' (or so he says).

EXHIBIT A: Timmaghs testimony:

My friend Brain Greenway died from a heart attack.
My friend Alan Powell died from a heart attack, due to auto-erotic asphixation.
My friend Rachel Sugden died in a car crash.
My friend John Pugh died of cancer.

EXHIBIT B: My opinion!

Timmagh is a jinx, killing friends with a stare of his eye. He is efficient and deadly: a winning combination

CONCLUSION: John Pugh is a funny name, because it sounds like John Poo.

I believe that was can safely say that no one knows whether Alanis Morrissette's version of irony is a pile or not.

So, I present you Irony 101:

A man called John Dogg gets eaten by a dog. The dog may also have been called John.

An article on Alanis Morissette's use of the word 'ironic':

http://www.wordiq.com/definition/Ironic_%28song%29

'Alanis Morissette once said herself that the biggest irony of "Ironic" is that there is no irony in the lyrics: "The irony of 'Ironic' is that it's not an ironic song at all."'

A deeper analysis:

http://www.mellowfellow.com/ironic.shtml

'Conclusion:
The real irony here is that Alanis Morissette made a hit song about irony, while clearly having no idea of what irony really is.

And isn't THAT ironic... don't you think?'

Are you talking about the song here. Cos the only ironic thing about it is that its not ironic in the slightest.

Its not a different form at all. She was just wrong when she wrote it.
