Where the hell did this fricking beauty come from? Been watching/reading a few stuff about it over the last few days and it looks so sweet.

It looks like a cross between Devil May Cry and Eternal Darkness with some sexual healing thrown in for good measure.

Anyone else played this yet state side?

I loved the original, the next gen sequel was a sheep anal gland though.

Pretty sweet puzzles, decent story, decent character, combat was pretty fun etc. Looked excellent for its time as well (PSONE). I nabbed the Dreamcast version which looked waaaaay better, not many other improvements to shout about though.

I too only saw this recently and was pleasantly surprised. I saw the IGN review score which made me click to see what it was, just out of curiosity really and was quite shocked at how good it looked. Seems to be down for a June release - anybody know if that's accurate?

It wasn't that long ago ... surely.
I hope not, anyway. :' (

Anywho ... yus, I'll watch out for this one. I remember seeing some vids a long time ago, forgot about it then. But those are some most excellent scores.

Gamespot gave it 9.3, PLAY 9.5 and a few other 9.6/9.8 etc.

Couldn't give a rat's unpenetrable anus about innovation. It just looks like a really polished effort and from Sony of all people.

IGN gave it 9.8

Maybe the reviewer was too young to remember Legacy of Kain from 6 years ago, because it's basically the same thing - you get given powers, you use them to kill stuff, same old same old with updated graphics and sound.

Innovation is dead, but those that never played Legacy of Kain will probably love it.
