I liked Equilibrium. Bale is the man, although to me he shall always be Patrick Bateman. What a genuis film. He's great in Shaft as well. Bale shall be superb at Batman.

Although he did kill Sean Bean. I agree this is not upsetting the average of Bean films, but Bean is one of the few actors superior to Bale.

I liked Equilibrium - you have to give them a bit of creative license...yes, that is the premise of the film, but no-one wants to watch deadpan zombies talk in a film for two hours just to satisfy people who want the concept taken to the extreme.
Equilibrium is ridiculous. They go on how people aren't supposed to feel emotions yet they all feel emotions. When the guy catches Bale, he is happy and you can see that. Apart from that and Sean Bean, it's fantastic......ly awful.
Christian Bale is indeed a god. Anyone seen Equilirium?
