I was persuaded into getting this messenger thing recently, and......well, it's not up to much, is it? It's nice and pretty, but you can't even use italics in the way they're supposed to be used. And the emoticons suck.

And none of my contacts are online.

And you get paranoid they ain't paying attention.

Mostly they aren't, because they have two or three other conversations on the go.

Although I do enjoy the Minesweeper Flags game.

It doesn't seem so useless if you have lots of friends to talk to on it.

I didn't say it was useless, it's just annoying that you either type your whole message in italics or nothing at all. And the display pictures could be improved, and don't even get me started on display names.....
