Buck1, this needs your explanation.

It seems that in your emulator package on yer site, sonic 1 and 2 have a problem with Water.

I mean that whenever the water surface line is off-screen, everything goes sooo slow.

mmm?

Hey Buck - why no 'sonic & knuckles' ROM thrown in?

I can understand it being difficult, because of the add-on styling of it, but is it possible?

I'm on XP.

Lemme fiddle around with some settings in the emulator itself, first.

It's a bit strange when sonic 3 has no problems with water at all.

Well it could be that your graphics has aut-fill thingy that improves the quality of the game. It can have negative effects on the game espacially if it is a 16 bit game. But i shouldnt make it really slow.

Are you running it on xp?

If yours is 98 below i know what the problem is

I have a 2800+ and a 9600 pro, so I don't think my specs are exactly under what's expected of a MEGADRIVE emulator.

Ijust quicly ruin throughed the games right now and they seem fine.

It could be that you're cpu speed is not that fast or you're graphics card doesnt have allot of memory. If it is fast enogh fiddle around in the grahics thingy.
