And I have no intention of fixing it. Now, I need your advice. I assume you know about these things. When is the next console coming out? PlayStation 3 or whatever. Should I wait for that or try and pick me up a pikey PS2 off eBay. All I play these days is PES4. To be honest, my favourite console was my N64. But I'm not a gamer, really, so I don't know anything.

You will be lucky to see a PS3 before the middle to end of next year in UK. No offical prices, but the feeling is it is going to be high. If you are desperate to play PE4, then I guess a second hand one off Ebay is your best bet.
If this is the old 'huge' PS2 then i think you should get the new slim ones.

Best bet it probably to get a new one as a second hand one is more likely to have some problems. New slimline PS2's are £105 with one controller and no games.
Might seem a bit steep but it's worth it to have a reliable machine.

I've seen them around for £99.
I will buy the old one of you for £10.

Indeed.
*whistful sigh*
It's disgraceful just how badly Resi Evil 4 and others ripped off Zelda. But then again, I guess Zelda had to rip someone off.
Get a thin one and it'll have a resale value, last-longer and be quieter.

Can't say my first thoughts upon playing Resi 4 were "oh my, what a Zelda rip-off."
;D
I don't remember Zelda's gore / horror action particularly well. Care to refresh?
