I mean, when you black out, a black haze just creeps over your eyes, your temples start to increase with pressure, and it's just like seconds of pure bliss. Your hearing goes too, and it's just like a period of isolation from your senses.
I'm a nut.

That's the kind of black-out i'm on about.
Oh, and stand up really quickly from a tingly hot bath.
Knock-out stuff.

complete contradiction!

Experienced as in watching my friends do them.

I used to do that. One time I was 'out' for ages and the real hard guys who worked out etc were slapping and punching me to wake me up, but I wouldn't.
They claim I was gone for 5 minutes. It felt more like 5 seconds and I can vividly remember what I saw during that time.
I'll never do it again, no matter how tempting - I later realised you can die by making yourself blackout.

its usually after i stand up too quickly, the first thing to go is balance, then your eyes and lastly hearing.
and while you mentioned cancer,i can think of no better time to admit that, that was my major health problem that sent me off the edge.

Interesting! I imagine death as.. straight to the point?! :p
No.. seriously. The closest I've ever felt what death is like, is through someone else. Strange, no?
I was told by someone else about a man who was lying on his death-bed in hospital suffering from bowel cancer(?) and he said, "I feel very tired now.". Fell asleep and died. Just those few words can make you feel a slight bit closer to knowing what death might feel like! Very worrying too.
Anyway.. topic. Passed out once after running. That was weird.

straight after that, it may be me, but that doesn't make sense.

i dont so it deliberately though, that would be stupid and dangerous
My friends have had temporary amnesia from it.
One of my friends reacted badly and did not black out but turned white as a ghost and threw up several times.
And I have known some people to have blacked out for more that 3 minutes and have nearly died.
Dont do it.
