I used two kitchen rolls but it's still really wet.

Do you think the fact I left it over night means it soaked right in?

Not quite what I had in mind. SHEEPY, do you live near an airport or an industrial park? If so, have a hunt around, some of the stuff there is really powerful and its free.

Of course you could squirt some detergent on the carpet, make a bit of a lather and pretend you are cleaning the carpet.

Use and industrial fan. Well, thats what I always use, as long as you don't mind destroying a few windows and crockery.

Still, when you are feeling hot you can lie on the floor to cool down. And it will cleanse the bottom of your shoe.

Infact, this idea could catch on.
