It's pretty much the latest R4 card, so it takes SDHC memory and has a pretty good media menu for films, music and ebooks. But the most important thing is that it works with the DSi.
Now I haven't got a DSi yet but this might actually push me into getting one. I hate to take a whole bunch of game cards with me and I love emulating older consoles on the move, so it's perfect.
Anyone else getting this or got one already?

The DSi itself is lovely. The internet browser, while still underpowered due to memory limitations, is so much faster than the DS Browser and it's built in too.
At the moment you get 1000 points extra when you first sign in to the DS Channel, which can get you a couple of good games like Wario Ware Snapped.
I can confirm that the R4i works perfectly with the DSi and makes life a lot easier than carrying around tons of cartridges.
