I am currently trying to create a logo that has the following features.
1. Scaleable
2. Transparent background
All I need to know is, firstly which program should I create the logo in? (Photoshop, Freehand etc.)
And secondly, how do you get it to maintain it's transparent background when you save it as an EPS.
Thanks
Adam

Check it out.
You should be able to create a transparent logo pretty easily in photoshop, and assuming EPS supports layers/transparencies, it will save them automatically.

I am simply waiting for an opportune game to present itself. Thanks for reminder though.

EPS is an 'Editable something or other', used for printwork and similar stuff. I have already tried doing that in Photoshop, but saving as an EPS it flattens down the layers and loses the transparency. I think it must have to be done in a vector-based program like Freehand.
I know it can be done because I have an EPS here made by a professional company that has the exact chracteristics described above.
