Yes - also note neither fridges nor freezers are designed to handle continuous thermal loads, so your card wouldn't stay cold for long.

Hm, March 12-15...not decided yet, i17 was cool but a lot of hassle and very expensive...I'm meant to be saving money to go to South Africa right now, so hoping to pay for this beforehand may be pushing it. Still, never know, I may yet, I'll have a word with some friends.

Seen the HL2 FPS scores Gabe Newell presented recently? DX9 test, 9800pro scored around twice what the 5900 ultra did - oh yes :D They've gone and rewritten a separate code path for nvidia cards to work round all their non-standardised stuff, but it's still not quite up to the same speed, and not all developers have the resources to do this..

I'd just buy a Vapochill or Prometia unit for it.
I wouldnt mess with watercooling, its beyond my limits right now.
