Hm, March 12-15...not decided yet, i17 was cool but a lot of hassle and very expensive...I'm meant to be saving money to go to South Africa right now, so hoping to pay for this beforehand may be pushing it. Still, never know, I may yet, I'll have a word with some friends.

Seen the HL2 FPS scores Gabe Newell presented recently? DX9 test, 9800pro scored around twice what the 5900 ultra did - oh yes :D They've gone and rewritten a separate code path for nvidia cards to work round all their non-standardised stuff, but it's still not quite up to the same speed, and not all developers have the resources to do this..

I'd rather buy a Sapphire 9800PRO card and just fit a zalman copper heatpipe cooler on it.
And everyone knows Radeons are better anyway *runs*
