I'm sorry, is it me or are shoot 'em ups becoming extremely generic and just slap bang lazy lately?
My mate popped over to GAME and picked up Area 51. I went over to give it a go, only to find myself feeling physically and emotionally sick afterwards. It followed a very linear structure - bang, open door, bang bang, find switch, bang bang....
Oh, and if any of you even like Pariah in the slightest... there will be hell to pay...

Pariah was good, just felt very clunky and unfinished.

How ironic, the game is extremely fast and action packed, but isn't the slightest bit exciting...

Pariah wasn't fast at all.
You're kidding me? I thought it was really fast compared to Halo, Doom and Half Life - its from the makers of Unreal so I didn't expect it to be slow.

The story was rushed but the combat was slowwwwwww. And the cars sucked utter balls.
