I'm not a woman but in answer to your question: No I don't think gaming is male dominated. It certainly appeals more to the male gender but I know a lot of women who play games aswell. They're just not as common as men playing games. It's really the same as football. Male orientated but played by both sexes, just female games players aren't as common as male one.
