4. It features lots of adorable little kids, some of whom live on farms.
I tried my bestest to hate it, I really did, but it was - God help me! - heartwarming and - Jesus, no! - life affirming. My fingers feel dirty just typing those words, but it's the truth: this is a great film.
Anyway it's on BBC4 tonight at 8.30, which is a much cheaper option than the cinema. You should watch it. You will probably cry and will definitely want to be a teacher by the end of it.

It's a repeat. It's always a repeat. They've never made any new episodes of Buzzcocks, not ever.
Mark Lamaar is one of the funniest bloke around and if you have the chance to see him in stand-up, snap it up because he is great!

Oh yes, must set the bloody programme planner for that tonight - I always miss the sodding thing. Yep, gonna go do that now. Or when I can be bothered to move to the other side of the living room, turn the TV on and use the remote.
