To be fair though I'm only slightly right and fairly centralised in my views, although BNP came out third best match :S

Also note that it's probably more important to vote in local elections if you're at all interested in how your neighbourhood should be run. Often it makes more difference than the general election vote.

European elections require MPs who are able to swing us a good deal and ensure that the UK is included in rule changes and fairly treated generally.

Fair point - that is your view.

My view is that Britain is in a terrible state and we need change. Therefore I voted to hopefully bring about that change. It doesn't necessarily mean things are going to get better, I agree. But atleast I've had my say on things.

Oh come on, this is a prime example of an erectoral vote. It means absolute d*** because we're pretty f***ed whoever wins.

True, and although you'll still probably feel strongly about various political issues, you'll be able to remember that you chose not to have a say about them :P

They also died so we could have the choice not to vote.

I honestly can't see the point, I don't support either party anymore so voting would be a complete sellout for me.
And I haven't researched smaller parties enough to waste my vote on them.

People fought to give us the freedom to vote. Also for secret ballots :P

It's safe to say I did not vote for BNP though :P

So did you end up voting for the BNP? :)

Yeah they were at the top of my voting paper, It was really long, some of the parties I'd never even heard of.

I decided to go with conservative party in the European vote. I think my brother went Lib Dem.

Surely that would be reason enough to vote.

Those who don't vote can't complain.

A protest vote is better than no vote. :P

I'm so disgusted with the state of this country that I boycotted the elections!
