If I have a script located /cgi-bin/tc/tc.cgi how do I call it?

???

any help would be gratefully appreciated.

I'm sure they've had SSI for a couple of years now.

Although I've never used it for anything, as it doesn't seem all that usefull compaired to PHP.

Obviously not that long though, I remember having to do major PHP hax on some scripts I had once because they didn't support SHTML.

Sure they do, have done for ages.

Make sure you rename the file to be an .shtml one though, and put the file (the one calling the script) in your htdocs folder, not the cgi-shi folder.

Rename it to .php

I told you you can't use shtml on Freeola!

tried your suggestion putting the code into my webpage but still no luck. Its a simple text counter I'm trying to add to my site.

The script asks:
# What is the location of the count file?

I've put:

$Count_Log = "http://www.mysite.net/cgi-shl/tc/count.log";

should it be "http://www.mysite.net/cgi-bin/tc/count.log";

or

/freeola/users/8/2/sr0123456/cgi-shl/tc/

You're trying to use SSI, which Freeola don't support.



....should do the trick.
