For me I think 24 would only bear viewing again in a few years, when all plot twists are forgotten. If I saw it again now, I'd be saying "Oohhhh, this is the best where..." over and over again. I suppose it would still be exciting though.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and want to add it to me DVD collection to watch over and over again.

See above.

I buy it for the actual content, the extra features are just more incouraging.

Meh. It's simply one small reason. At least you're clearly a Red Dwarf fan, so I'll be nice :D

But 99% of my DVDs I've seen before. I buy them because I enjoyed them and they're worth seeing on demand, not just when they're on TV.
Also i have seen the last episode of series one which was a bummer cos it looked rather interesting...

I just watched the first one again in a week and it's utterly absornbing.

Fair enough - what's your excuse for series ("season") two?
> B - It rules and I wanna replace my taped-off-of-BBC3 version
So it rules, well that may be true, but you've already seen it.
> C - There's a LOT of extras
They call them bonus features because they're a bonus. You know, something extra? Not what you buy it for, but a little treat at the end?
> D - It's limited edition
Well tweak my nipplenuts, it's worth buying!

So you buy it because it's cheaper? What if you didn't even like the programme, would you still buy because it was a "bargain"?
Sorry, didn't mean to put you down - it's a pretty valid purchase if you haven't seen series one, but why not get the series one boxset instead? Less money, and a higher percentage of it is new to you.
Plus, that's not including Series 1 extras. It's more than a lot of DVDs give you...

I wouldn't call an Audio Commentary, 45 deleted scenes, One 13min documnetary, and a 96min documentary "a LOT" of extras.
Granted one documentary is like 96 min but it's still nothing to whoop whoop about.

Oh boy, that last bit made you seem so scouser-ish. It's quite disturbing...
