After the dust settles after the great console war Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft (and maybe even Sega) will stay standing. What next? ready for the next stage of warfare well how about the greatest treaty ever.

Imagine if one console with Microsofts Specs, Nintendo's Controllers and Sony's friendly attitude towards 3rd party developers were to be released. Could you imagine if Zelda, Final fantasy and Shenmue stood side by side. Joanna Dark shaking hands with Lara croft and Mario and Sonic going down the pub together for a friendly drink rather than a bar room brawl.

If there was one console the public would love it. No arguments with their friends everyone would experience great games from all the companys. The quality of games will be forced up and prices will fall. The console could also be upgraded rather than replaced much like a PC and the profits will be split equaly by the 3 (or 4) companys.

The thought of Playing Syphon filter, Sonic, Mario, Shenmue, Zelda, Grand Turismo, Pokemon, Perfect Dark, Final fantasy and House of the Dead all together without having to dish £100+ for an extra console each time is a thrilling prospect.

Here's to the Future.

Importance of correct pronouciation:

Ninty Exec: Yeah, the N64 will have cartilage.
Square Exec: Wow, that's new, we'll start work on FF7 right away.
Ninty Exec (to himself): Funny guy! Worra pronka!

Square Exec back at base: Hey! The new N64's gonna have cartilage!
Square Staff: Wow!!

----------

Ninty Exec: Yeah, the N64 will have cartridge.
Square Exec: Bye!

The importance of correct punctuation:

--------

Dear John:

I want a man who knows what love is all about. You are generous, kind, thoughtful. People who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior. You have ruined me for other men. I yearn for you. I have no feelings whatsoever when we're apart. I can be forever happy--will you let me be yours?

Surly Though the Nintendo sixty four controller created the analogue stick and the z button all Sega did was say that is good lets put 2 and sony did the same with the analogue stick.

The c buttons are nothing more than an extra d-pad... only put on the controller because Shigsy wanted better camera movements with Mario...

The C-stick is what they should have used all along.

But Nintendo have learnt from that. In about 10 years, when Nintendo release their next console, we'll look back on the N64 as the experimental console. Not really taking off well, but providing Nintendo with the experitise it has today.
