Interesting. I've heard Punch Up At A Wedding and it ws the same dreary moaning stuff that I'm accustomed to. Let's hope they've picked up the guitars again, eh?

i've decided not to hear any of the new stuff until the gig
or indeed when there there is released. Plus only recently got Kid A and Amnesiac so listening to them a lot

Apparently, he doesn't sound like's he's near death for most of this one.

Maybe it won't be a pile of toss like the last few.

There there is a brilliant song. Are tickets for any gigs on sale yet?

They did it in secret on their site

Oh and Myxamotosis (sp) is ermmm a very rock track

It's hard to tell as quality of tracks from gigs are pretty crap

If it does suck, I'm going to write him a letter saying just how utterly normal his music is these days.

Not bad, or unlistenable or artywankfaced.
Just staggeringly normal and boring.
Pablo Honey - I like Creep, Vegetable and Lurgy
The Bends - I like Fake Plastic Tree, High & Dry, Street Spirit and Just.
OK Computer - I like Exit Music, Paranoid Android, Karma Police, No Surprises and Let Down.

These songs all have something in common - they aren't boring and normal.
Kid A? Autechre and plain old Warped, except 5 years after anyone cared for it
Amnesiac - See above, just add a brass section

Man, they better had suddenly realise they used to matter.

I think Pablo Honey is pretty poor

The Bends is pretty damn fine

Ok Computer I really love and recently I really like The Tourist and never get tired of Paranoid Android

Kid A I always think is errm well yes not bad but not brilliant. More about making some stupid, selfish statement rather than make good music.

Out of Kid A and Amnesiac I like:

The National Anthem, How to Disapear Completely, Optimistic, Motion Picture Soundtrack(live), I Might be Wrong, Knives Out, Life in a Glasshouse and Spinning Plates (live it is great, album track is awful)
