Listened to this last night and it struck me just how beautiful this lyric is...
"Will you catch me if I'm falling?
Will you kiss me if I'm leaving?
Will you hold me when I'm lonely?"
> transposed them wrong. Haha, caught ya :P

> Would you hold me cos I'm lonely without you"

Nope, the version I got them from is how I wrote them.
CC change their alternate lyrics every show, which is why all their live songs are unique to each show: they never play the same one twice.
Wond'ring Aloud - Jethro Tull.
Wond'ring aloud... how we feel today...
Last night I sipped the sunset, my hands in her hair.
We are our own saviours as we start, both our hearts, beating life... into each other.
Wond'ring aloud... will the years treat us well?
As she floats in the kitchen, I'm tasting the smell... yeah... of toast as the butter runs.
Then she comes, spilling crumbs on the bed.
And I shake my head.
And it's only the giving that makes you... what you are.
"Would you catch me if I was falling
Would you kiss me if I was leaving
Would you hold me cos I'm lonely without you"
I believe is how it should be.

Yes, I was only referring to some (most?) of the contributions made here, rather than all of them.
As for song lyrics, there are too many good ones to single out one.
Tears in heaven
"Would you know my name,
if I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same,
if I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong,
and carry on,
'cause I know, I don't belong,
here in heaven.
Would you hold my hand,
if I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand,
if I saw you in heaven?
I'll find my way,
through night and day,
'cause I know, I just can't stay,
here in heaven."
written after his son died.

I agree with you in the most part, but I wouldn't really say that the contribution I made was a love song. Probably why it doesn't seem so beautiful written down.
The Living Dead - Suede
"Where's all you money gone?
I'm talking to you.
All up the hole in your arm.
Is a needle a much better screw,
But oh, what will you do, alone.
Because I have to go."
I know reading it on paper (or whatever) it doesn't seem so beautiful,
I guess you have to hear the ballad that goes with it.
Yeah, it's sad, but it is beautiful too.
