Decent shooter for £3, but it lacks a pretty essential yet simple element that makes or breaks it, for me anyway. A crosshair.
Honestly, it can't be that hard to incorporate 2 lines onto the screen. I know you can target with those stupid binoculars but they hardly help matters. Anyone else own this game?

I don't think they ever released a patch for it. To be honest, you'd probably have more luck with the sequel, more of the same but with slightly better looking graphics and without the technical problems the original has.

You would need to reinstall new drivers if you wanted to pay your newer games. It would be a bit of a pain but if you plan on playing IGI all the way through it's not too bad.

Yeah I know, there isn't much point really is there? I wouldn't want to install old drivers over the new ones so every time I played a new game it would have issues.

Oh, here we go:

"Numerous of players have tried to contact me with questions regarding hardware problems with Project IGI. I don't have any solutions. The most common problem is that neither gun, "healthmeter" nor crosshair is displayed"

and then, Eidos's suggestion:

"They also propose that you shall change your graphic card drivers to older ones"

Right...

No, the gun is at an angle which means the bullet hits about 4 feet away from where the actual sight is aiming. It also varies depending on your distance from target and if you're shooting to left or right.

don't you use the sights on the top of the guns?

I've played it but i wasn't too keen on the feel of the game, Farcry is pretty low in price now if your looking for a cheap great FPS.
