Documents have recently been uncovered which show that the original ideas for Doctor Who included the Doctor without his Tardis, using an invisible machine in it's place.

I was watching Bill & Ted last night on ITV2 :) It didnt bother me at all that they were using a telephone box.
I'm glad the Tardis doesnt work properly. I think one Colin Baker episode had it turn into a pipe organ or something, I cant really remember.

Though parents would have a cheaper Christmas! You just need an empty box and wrapping paper. Sorted!
