I would have tried to get it today (got 2 emails off Microsoft telling me about it) but my 360 got ROD on Monday and I can't really be bothered to replace it or get it repaired (It's a launch console so is over 3 years old so I will have to pay...)

I didn't really like the look of it anyway, if I want Mii's I'll play my Wii.

I like it, the Avatar thing is good and adds a bit more personality to your profile in my opinion. Plus there are a lot of ways you can create your mii, oopps, sorry i mean avatar (personally think it is better than the mii system). Once you use it a couple of times you get used to the new layout and plus i like the themes.

All in all im happy with it, hopefully they will look to push it forward even more (not sure how or what they could do lol) but all in all i am glad they did it

Back on topic, I love it. So much easier to use and looks crisp and clear. Avatars are good, but not what I love it for. Found my system runs a lot quicker when navigating the dashboard now as well!

The best improvement is definitely the speed when searching through your games. Everything else is nice to have and I like the look of it, but at the moment it doesn't really seem all that practical.

I downloaded it back when I was home for my birthday around the 20th, and I haven't used my xbox since, or at least a month before it.

I'm hoping for a nice new batch of games from Santa this year!
