Loads of cool ideas and enemies that never made it into the final version, but I'm so glad they changed the camera around (although it's here in part) and got rid of all the door-opening loads.

Yeh, thankgoodness they did change the camera. Interesting footage, but I'm very happy with what we got.
Well that made for interesting viewing. It wasn't entirely like the old Resident Evils, it was a lot more cinematic in the way that Leon moved through the level. Those little things that attacked him didn't seem very Resident Evilish to me.
I'm glad they decided to change it though, otherwise we would have been deprived of one of the best games ever made and instead we'd have had just another Resident Evil.

I like how you get blue ghosty effects when being attacks, then it switches back to more orangy, candle-lit gloom when exploring again. Nice touch.
But, yeah, there's no way I would trade in the Resi 4 we got in the end. Glad they decided to shake things up a bit, otherwise it would have been just another Resident Evil game.

I've started playing Resi 4 again. Wonderous.
Make sure to wipe your bum after every go :p
