I am agreeing with you here!
The poly count is pretty rubbish, not your fault, but Sonys and Microsofts. They are only raw numbers, and mean nothing...
Err... The Microsoft chip is as fast as the GC, both sides have admitted this. So MHZ means nothing... just look at the AMD chips to show you what I mean.
So in ranking order. From best to worst power.
1) X-Box AND Gamecube, both are EXTREMELY simular.
2) PS2.
