From what I know, you should have no problem playing the old games online.
PES5 is the main reason i'm asking as well. I was gonna sell my xbox when the 360 comes out but wont if i cant play pro evo online :(

My PS2 is up on eBay now so I'll need to get the Xbox version of PES5. I'm pretty sure it's playable on the 360 itself, but online play is still unconfirmed, which is disappointing. It'd be great if it is, though.

They'll work exactly the same way they do on the XBOX. The software is exactly the same, obviously.
We probably won't have the 'Guide', but you'll be able to play XBOX games online definitely.
