I had this problem aswell, i found that you had to use the official gear as nothing else existed, but was advised that if you have a laptop that uses wireless you can use that as a bridge, i had to pay £50 for the wireless adapter but it does work very well!
No, no laptop for me. I'll have to see how annoyed I get having cables across the floor everytime I'm downloading demos or something :-)

You could try and get a preowned one, or look on ebay. Well worth getting though.

It''s alright I've had a re-arrange so the 360 is wired in. I love being able to download demos. Ninty really need to release a HDD and do the same for the Wii.
