Weird film. Kinda interesting, kinda funny. It looks like a really, really blatant attempt to appeal to the thousands of 'individuals' in America who shop in comic book stores and don't conform to society. It reminded me of Daria crossed with Mallrats, which doesn't sound like a bad thing, but...I dunno...can't explain. It was like McDonalds dressed up as an old diner, where the staff are really friendly, but underneath it's still McDonalds. The charm that Mallrats and Clerks had was that they were no-budget, no-brainer films. I didn't get that feeling from Ghost World.
I can't make out that film, I saw it about almost a year ago I think, and it was weird - like most of you said! I can't even remember the storyline! What exactly was it about? Was it aboot that girl who fell in love with that man?
That's the guy from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers 'By The Way' video. I laughed as soon as I saw him. He funny.
The best bit of the film is Steve Buscemi as he rules. And that crazy guy with the nunchakus is "interesting".
