"According to Microsoft a wide variety of games will be launched under the new brand, including Halo 2, Project Gotham Racing 2, Counter-Strike, The Simpsons and Fable: The Lost Chapters. Vivendi titles Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex, Crash Nitro Kart and Crash Twinsanity will also be included in the range." - gamesindustry.biz
Infact the same goes for every game mentioned in this thread.
26-05-2006. Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) Today announced a Best of Classics range of XBOX titles that gamers can pick up for just £9.99! These include smash-hit HALO 2 (that everyone with sense already has) and a number of other first and thrid-party published titles. While £9.99 is a competitive price-point, all of the above can be found on eBay - sans the embarassing 'I- got-this- very-late-and-cheap- because-i'm-a- bit-dim' tag - for considerably less. Regardless, Microsoft have to scrape what barrel-lining they can from the current generation after having generated an overall loss that could probably have wiped out world hunger, world debt and cured cancer and AIDS. Microsoft plans a similar business plan with the new XBOX 360 console (launched late last ear.) Anyone stupid enough to buy the tat on offer for the console will regret not having done so 5 years down the line when they'll pay just £9.99.
Or not.
XBox.com lists just the 3, PGR2, Halo 2 and Fable: TLC.
Amazon lists just the same 3 titles as best of classics so I reckon they've initially gone for those 3 and more will be added later.
> Do we have a list available to us or will be it just be 'Oooh,
> (insert game name) is £10'?
I'll scour around for a list... brb.
