My PC will fail miserably with it's hdd but i'll give it a go, nice to see how good/bad your machine is..
Outdated drivers, errors on every section I think.
Also, question for yoy, how do i stop Windows from popping up that annoying "clean disk" thingy? it keeps popping up mid-game and messing up my screen :D
What did you get though then i can compare athlon with P4 im sire it will beat me on MIPS but not sure on mulitmedia and memory bandwidth.

I didn't close any programs though, but I had nothing heavy running and I stopped playing MP3s & minimised IRC.
But, you misunderstand the naming scheme. The number refers to the speed an equivalent THUNDERBIRD would be running at, not a P4. Seeing as P4s are poor chips designed for high clocks with low IPC, the Thunderbird also weed all over them, which makes XP2200 == 2.66ghz P4 feasible.
