Yeah, most of it is alts. A lot of us have at least 2 extra characters - some even more. All the lowbies in the guild are alts - the only new members we have are already at 60 or close to it.
There are a few names that haven't logged in for Months too though.

Lots of alts yes, but around 120 of them are unique. Just a lot of them don't play all that often. About 60 'hardcore' players (i.e, they play pretty much every....week)

Lack of Internet... --> No Warcraft... --> Going out far too much... --> Meeting freshers while drunk... --> Getting ill.
To cut a long story short, the Internet keeps me healthy and free of colds.

Technically it's not Halloween in WoW. It's Hallows'end. Who says this festival follows our Halloween exactly? I love the askew logic behind it.
