i managed to find one for 36.99 including post and packeging for a 1gb memory stick duo and it wasn't san disk.

The prices are coming down now which is good.

Production's understandably been ramped up like crazy since I bought my card; reminds me of the mid 90s when RAM was plummeting down shortly before the earthquakes).

Can anyone explain to me the difference between Duo and Pro Duo? (if any)

Im looking for a 1gig card for my mobile (Sony Ericsson) and the one it comes with it is a Duo will the Pro Duo work as £50 seems reasonable!

I've looked into it and it both are compatible although I still dont know what the difference is!

Basically it's down to capacity.

0-128Mb will be called DUO, whereas 256+ will be PRO DUO.

There may be a slight variance there, DUO may go up to 256.
