I think the point is that if Blizzard are collecting it, then it's there to be taken by others, when it needn't be taken at all.

Year, I've seen that this warden (I didn't know the name however) views processes running at the same time as WoW.

Makes sense. If CS did this, then the client side hack program wouldn't work (wallhack, radar hack etc)

As you say, it's possible Blizzard can view email addresses and credit card numbers, but has there been any reports of them misusing this info? Nope.

i've read a lot of it as i was checking what emu's broke it, i guess they could have added to the EULA at one of the patches.

It is in the EULA apparently. Haven't checked myself though.

Yeah no real threat, as all of us on private servers haven't had nasty blizzard letters.

It is gay that information isn't included in the EULA with WoW, but then a lot of games with Starforce don't ask you if you want to install it before it does, which is technically a breach of some law or something.

Yeah, fairly old news within the community. I don't mind the software though, as I have nothing to hide. Besides, if Blizzard wanted to abuse my credit card details or something, they are given it when I pay my Monthly fee.

To all the paranoid - if you don't want Warden seeing what else you're running on your PC, close all other programs while playing. From an efficiancy point of view, you should have as few programs as possible running no matter what you do anyway.

Shame though. An anti-cheat system as clever as this and we still have glitchers, exploiters and teleporters running amok.
