Well, the in thing at the moment is to mod these with your own designs.
You can get a Photoshop template here: http://img224.echo.cx/img224/6728/doubleskin1004ro.jpg
and there are whole forums dedicated to this 'artform'.
I've been designing some myself, which you can find below:

Mario http://uk.geocities.com//mario_100.jpg

Just download them and print them out. The size is already correct, but check your software doesn't try to stretch or fit to screen (try selecting 'actual size')
Oh, and printing them on Photo paper gives the best results.
Have a go yourselves...
And yes, it's slightly bulkier than the soft case, but not too much. The good thing is that it has spaces for the power lead, headphones and shoulder buttons, so you can listen to music with the lid closed or play the PSP with the lid open and acting as a sun shield.
It really is a nice piece of kit, get it!
Is it padded inside? One of the bonuses of the soft case is that it is gentle to the unit and doesn't scratch it.

Well I do that anyway, but...
Only SR don't sell them, so I'm not linking to another site. Just go to a site that sells PSPs and look for them...
There are so many posts in the topic in other forums, I'm astonished nobody here seems interested in modding their case.
