No. Why would they drop their price for when they could sell the most number of units?
I can't see them dropping the price before christmas, would you if you were Sony?

I suspect the reason no-one can get hold of any at the moment is because Sony are hoarding them all for the Christmas rush.
Get one of the new GAME Gift Cards and ask everyone to put money on it for you instead of buying you a present. Then you can use that towards it.

Even if any shops had it in stock, i doubt there's no chance of a price drop this year.
It's still a new console, price drops will be at least a year away.
You could always import one, that makes it cheaper.
If you know anyone in japan, they are about £100 for a value pack there.

Or try a HMV gift card because they're not quite as bad as Game are.
Edit: and if you get it put on the HMV games card you get a better deal than with Game's awful point system.

Wait until after Christmas the price will surely drop then.
Or the bundles will get slightly larger.

Look back on the threads in this section for a post called "Hello from Tokyo" and contact phuzzy - he's over in Tokyo funnily enough and can ship them over :)
