-They're going through every Xbox game and certifying it to work on 360, so chances are, all games will work eventually.

-Emulation software can be obtained in 3 ways, for people with Live, it is all ok, you just go online, it checks what emulation software you have, and automatically updates your emulators whenever needs. Those without Live can download the emulators onto their PC and burn them onto a CD-ROM (hmmm, xbox emulators available for download? I see some hackers cracking these to get Xbox games working on PC), or MS will send you a CD with the software for a small charge, these will just pop in to your 360 and install straight away. There may even be emulators packed into the DVDs on the official Xbox mag.

-EVERY XBOX GAME ON THE LIST CAN BE UPSCALED TO 720p AND 1080i. Also, all games will have additional anti-aliasing thanks to the 360.

-Soon on Xbox.com there will be a section in which you can tell MS what games you would most like to see for backwards compatibility next (I've already got my "Where's Jet Set Radio you bast**ds!?!?!?" e-mail written out)

-You need the hard drive (obviously)

-An early emulator for Halo 1 & 2 is included on the hard drive, but only allows for offline play, a new update will allow online play for Halo 2 on 360.

-They are working with developers to make sure all new Xbox games will work on 360, and the emulator software may even appear on the Xbox discs.

-Content cannot be carried over. So say bye-bye to save files, custom music and downloaded content. However, for dl content, all free Xbox content will still be available from the marketplace (for free) as will premium content (for a charge, yes, you do have to pay again).

-There are no problems playing any Xbox online game on Live, people on 360 can play people on Xbox with no bother (unfortunately, there was no mention in the interview of a software update that kills whining Americans)

-It is all still region encoded, so no playing American xbox games on your 360.

That's still an impressive list even though it's not totally BC. Can only be a good thing though looking at that list.

dont know about your games but roughly £50 for the console alone, probably a little more - game are giving you £50 when you trade it in anyway.

I'll have to sell my Xbox as well, I've got about 15 games 2 controllers( a bit old though) a Dvd playback kit and a MadCatz Steering wheel.... How much would you think I might get for them?(Aprox)
The xbox prices are bound to come down a bit to, with the 360 out!

Pro Evo 5 and the HALOs are all that matter... Nice to see Rainbow 3 on there, mind! :)

Might trade my XBOX, then... or sell it. Crystal XBOX, 4 pads, DVD kit, Adv. Scart, Pro Evo 4... eBay, here we come.

It's definitely a nicely sized list. However, neither PGR 1 or 2? I know they want people to buy 3 at launch, but c'mon...

I was expecting a tiny list for the launch.

This is wonderful news. Not that I have any Xbox games. But it's good all the same.
