I can imagine that the next F1 will be multiformat, but I am sure this will play a part in the great 360/PS3 debate.
I've never been keen on the F11 franchise, but may give this a go as Codemasters usually make some decent racing titles. Anybody else thinking of getting it (if and when it comes out)?
> Last one I really enjoyed was F1 97 by Psygnosis
Psygnosis...now there's a name that I haven't heard in a while. Didn't they make some sort of snowboarding racer game as well? Honestly can't remeber what it was called, but it was on an OPM demo disc with Lemmings and Music.
It's going to bug me all day...or well, at least long enough until I google it!
EDIT: Now I'm on wiki and have seen the Psygnosis symbol - it takes me much farther back to the Commodore 64 days. I want one again!
And the name of the game I was thinking of was Psybadek!
Sony lost the exclusive rights due to them being so expensive.
I only sayed away from the game before as it was too "arcadey", so it would be nice if it was more like DiRT in the fact you could do the other F-racing (i.e. F2 and so on) in a career mode.
With the Sony exclusivity now over, I'll keep an eye on it but I would like to see at least 1 of their games, which are bound to be a yearly occurance, to move away from the arcade style.
