No matter how good of a invester you are, any shares you have at the moment you have probably lost money. I have anyways :(
I could have sold my HBOS shares for £8.50 a few months ago but now they are about £5.50 :(

I'm only £1000 away from the money i need for my new car. I've decided to go for a Corsa SRi now instead of a Astra SRi. Vauxhall have just bought out a new 1.7CDTi diesel engine for the Corsa. does 0-60 in 10.5 seconds, top speed of 116 and still does 56MPG! So in other words its faster and more economical than the astra.
Why leaving it for now?

I've decided to leave da the stock market well alone for now. I've made my money and i'll quit while i'm ahead.
Although i do wish i had bought some abbey shares when they fell under £5 last week. Would have done too if my PC didnt decide to f up on me.

Damn these stupid brokers, they've downgraded LLoyds AGAIN... at least I received the divi yesterday.

Yay hey I bought into Lloyds at £4.16 and now they're at 4.36 set to hit £4.90 around next week from the dividend re-investment scheme..:D
I really wish I had taken my aunts advice in Easter and invested about 300-400 quid in British biotech (I don't have that much money you see), at 2.25 pence per share.
They're up to 71.5 now.
That's up nearly 3200% in about 6 months.#
