It's no secret that Urusei Yatsura is my favourite Rumiko work. Absolutely class stuff.
If I had some money handy, I would acquire more of her work, she really is a top writer. Even when she moves away from comedy work, she still produces the goods, the Rumik world stuff and some of her older work certainly show that off...

I've loved her work for many years, Ranma 1/2 is one of my favourites but I do like Lum, my girlfriend is a big fan of Inu Yasha. I just sent 9 Ranma 1/2 videos to a friend up north. She's a big fan and I encourage the spread of anime by giving away videos.
Now if an anime like Ranma 1/2 was on TV then anime would be a big hit, although the manga would do wonders if released along with it.
I hope her next manga after Inu Yasha is another success.
Anyone interested in seeing some mangas by Rumiko Takahashi just log on to amazon.co.uk and type in "Rumiko Takahashi" and you'll find a big list of mangas. I suggest Ranma 1/2 or Inuyasha
