By my reckoning, if the chances of anything coming from Mars is a million to one (or so they say) then the chance of a meteor hitting the Earth is 10000000000-1.
However should I ever win the lottery the chance of a meteor/comet/space bus hitting Earth and obliterating us all, the very next day, one in one.
Thus we have a 14,000,000-1 chance of being hit because those are the odds of me winning the lottery.
So for the good of mankind I'd better stop playing...

If we detonated every warhead on the planet at once, it would vapourize Earth and take the neighbouring two plnaets with it!
