The Gamecube was always called that. If you ever noticed, a brick is around the same size and it is purple.
Smash Bros Melee, Melee mode, three minutes, four players, random levels, no 'restraints' (ie. people have to go at certain times)
Suffice to say, I did earn two trophys by collecting so many coins (Maxim Tomato and the helicopter off Kuru Kuru Kururin)

The closest i heared the Gamecube being called that was a lego brick, fisher price toy yes but lego brick????
