Yes they would, which is why Goldeneye was also banned from Germany.

The reason blood was taken out is because that is what caused the game to get wiped.
I really don't get that country!
Hardly any porn or sex laws, but.... NO BLOOD IN GAMES!
> I read somewhere that the Germans are to blame.
You are not far from wrong. Although a lot of games manufactures often make seperate games for the german market. The german games are really strictly censored, and games like perfect dark have been banned there. In (the shockingly awful) carmageddon 64, the uk version had you running over pedestrians. But in germany they had to change it to zombies.
The whole europe thing is a pain.
For instance, wouldn't the red patches on the guards' uniforms in Goldeneye (the game) count as blood? And that's only a 12 certificate.
When they released the new version after fixing the bug they took the blood out for some reason...
I read somewhere that the Germans are to blame.
What's wrong with a little blood anyway???
Kids are gunna experience it soon anyway, when they first fall and scrape their knee or something.
I spose it's bad for someone who faints at the sight of a blood drop - that's funny! Someone once did that in a DT lesson in year 7, and the blood was in a video for something, lol!
