In my opinion the best game on the ps1 is Final Fantasy 9. There are lots of great games on the ps1 so there can't just be one that is the best. :)
I liked the medal off hounor series and fifa football 2002 is a good game :)

Final Fantasy VII
Any of the Final Fantasy games were brilliant.

Yes I own Medal Of Honour: Allied Assault(Thats the correct spelling :D) and it a trully awesome game. I'm now looking forward to the PS2's very own MOH game, Medal of honour: Frontline. That too looks like a great game too.
And one of the best PSOne game I find great to own, is Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix. great plot, great puzzles and great action, I'd say its a must own for the PSone.
