I have a shop built with the Freeola Instantpro website builder. I would like to add an product and I want to sell a PDF file to my customers, is it possible to sell a file or a link to a file?

You can sell what you want as long as you include a link to the pdf file in question.
I haven't used Instant Pro Builder myself, but I guess that you will have that option. Instant Pro does give you 'single options only' within its Shopping Cart and maybe you could include it there? After all .. a pdf file is a commodity! Just create a new 'product' ... give it a name and create a new item ...
