I've tried all the numbers, and all it spits out at me after the numbers is the dial-up failure tone. I disconnected the broadband and made sure Sky isn't connected. I don't own any alarm systems or fax machines. I use a Conexant D110 V.92 56K Modem inside a Dell Inspiron 6000.

I'm pretty much out of ideas at this point as I've tried many sockets, including the master socket while the broadband was disconnected.

Who do you pay for you line rental and what happens if you try dialing one of the dial-up numbers on a telephone handset?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

It's been a few years since I've used Freeola's dialup and no longer have a modem to hand to test this... (I do have one stored away though!)

If a staffie doesn't see your post then I would raise a Support Ticket.

Let us know how you get on as it's always good to know Freeola's dial up service is there in an emergency.
