The "Freeola Customer Forum" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
I've installed a WordPress instance on http://chiropractor-tonbridge.co.uk/ yesterday.
There seems to be an issue though. When I create new pages within WordPress and try to preview them I get re-directed to http://registration.freeola.net/errors/e.php?ec=404
I can confirm that the pages have been created and published. I emailed support, but to no avail as I was merely told that "I have to create a 404 error page".
WordPress in-itself has 404 error pages, though that's not the issue because the URL's I'm accessing should exist.
It seems Freeola is overriding the whole re-direct and is reacting based off of some server cache that's running in the background?
Could someone please help? Do I need to edit the .htaccess file to remove the Freeola re-directs?
Any help is much appreciated.
As for the reason for getting the 404 error, well that could be many thing. As you did not have a .htaccess setup I have added one for you with the default Wordpress rules. Give previewing a try again and let us know how you get on.
