Hi,

I'm using the method suggested by Hmmm... for filtering my IMAP mail via GMail, and have been very happy with it for some time now.

For some reason, a whole bunch of spam isn't being filtered before my Outlook rules move it to my Freeola IMAP accounts.

My Outlook 2016 (Mac) accounts do not have IMAP Sync enabled.

Any idea?

I think I sussed the problem.

My phone was set to sync after a system update. I've adjusted the phone and it appears to have cured it (famous last words).

It sounds like Outlook is getting a direct copy of the email rather than one from Gmail.
