A quick over-view of the different gaming "religions" that (would) exist:

THE "BIG THREE"

The Sonytants
Arguably the dominant religion in the world today. People of all ages are members, and many are extremely loyal to the Omnipresent God, the PS2. Many moons ago, the then PSone evolved to its current almighty form with the help of its loyal followers.
PROPHET:Perhaps this religions biggest flaw is it's lack of a decent Prophet to promote its teachings. In the past there has been one known as "Crash Bandicoot", but he failed to secure a place in the hearts of the Sonytants for a significant time.
Many agree that this religion is in dire need of a prophet in order to remain a dominant religion for any longer...

The Nintendoites
Has a huge following, but many who are not part of this religion are of the opinion that the regular Nintendoite is highly childish, and does most of his/her writing in crayons.
This particular religion has a main god- The Gamecube, but also has powerful minions used to convert the public, known as "Gameboy Advance" and "N64", although the latter has grown weak, of late.
PROPHET:This religion's strong point is it's school known as "Rare" which trains powerful Prophets to promote it's teachings. At the top of the ladder is the old and wise "Mario" who is Nintendo's representive on Earth. Other's include "Link", "Donkey Kong", "Princess Peach" etc.

The PCers
The oldest religion.A huge branch of highly intelligent, yet slightly nerdy folk, who will defend their beloved God, the PC at all costs from rival "console" Gods. Clearly the most powerful religion, as it is always improving, and forever expanding.
PROPHET:Again, no real Prophet stands out here, but the PCers have infinite levels of confidence for their religion, so they donot really need a Prophet to guide them.

OTHERS:
Gate's Witnesses
More of a sect really, a division of the PCers. They call to doors of other religions trying to convert them to their "almighty one" Bill Gates, and his "Bible" The X-Box. Few take them seriously.....

Segaism
Used to be a dominant force, but after it's God "The Megadrive" tragically died, it has failed to find a worthy replacement.
Alot of its followers have moved on, and even it's almighty Prophet, "Sonic" has branched off to the Nintendoites...

What if....Consoles were Religions...?

Judging by what religion does to people and how they can't agree, I’d say that most people no this forum would be dead.

Witness the other real wars started due to a difference of faith. If consoles were religions, then there would be nail bombs in 'yer GAD, everyone on here who didn't agree would settle their scores shooting each other, and as many other followers of the other religion as possible.

Legends may sleep. But they *never* die.
